Fares Ali is a Muslim-Egyptian student native of Nashville and a graduate of Antioch High School. Having grown up with two different cultures, Egyptian and American, Fares strives to emphasize the importance of different perspectives in the world. A political science and sociology major, Fares plans to attend law school one day as a part of his plan to make an impact in his community and the world. Fares has already started this passion project by initially co-founding LAUNCH with his friend and fellow Antioch alumnus Eric before bringing on the rest of the team after attending Vanderbilt University.

Co- Executive Director

Eric Licona is a proud Mexican-American student studying Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Robotics and Automation at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Throughout his time at Antioch High School, he grew frustrated with the lack of support given to students and vowed to do something about it. Along with Fares, Eric co-founded LAUNCH  to put his thoughts and frustration into something productive and meaningful. He hopes to grow LAUNCH into a national program that can help students in need across the United States.

Jordan Parrish hails from Lawrenceville, Ga, and is 20 years old. She has overcome many obstacles to get to her current state of a student at Vanderbilt University. Aside from her work at LAUNCH, Jordan is an avid sports fan and loves to spend time reading, cooking, with friends, or working as a manager at her local Chick-Fil-A. In the future, while continuing work with LAUNCH, she hopes to attend medical school and spend a few years working with relief groups such as the American Red Cross or Doctors Without Borders as she believes in the uplifting of underserved communities everywhere.
